Tucson resident for over 20 years, BILL KERSEY was born in Fargo, North Dakota, and spent his teenage years in the suburban
chill of the Twin Cities metroplex.His family relocated to Arizona when he was in high school. Graduating as a National Merit Scholar, he first entered the University of Arizona as a music performance major but soon left college to pursue a variety of occupations and creative endeavors. After a decade of odd jobs and exploration, including his role as a founding member and guitarist of the band
Raintown , he returned to the University of Arizona to study film and media production. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005 with a BFA in Medha Arts. In addition to his own award-winning short films, his graceful editing work has been on display in a variety of other projects.
